All Smith Racing - Weekend Recap - 6/15/24

The Smith's had a challenging weekend at Callaway Raceway on Saturday, June 15th.

Parker started in 3rd position during his heat but decided to pull off the track due to track conditions. Concerned about preserving his equipment, he loaded it up and did not participate in the feature race.

Sam started 1st in the heat and managed to finish 3rd. Unfortunately, he was disqualified due to issues with his brakes. He loaded up after the heat race.

Brandon's heat race started with him in 4th position, but he encountered another did not finish (DNF) situation. While racing for 3rd place, after some contact he damaged some sheet metal and snapped his metal bumper. Although the sheet metal was repaired, they were unable to reattach the metal bumper. As a precautionary measure, he decided to save his equipment and load up.

We have decided not to participate in any races next weekend. However, they have made plans to resume racing on June 29th at Central Missouri Speedway.

Both Brandon and Sam intend to race with the unsanctioned Pure Stocks on Saturday nights at Central Missouri! I believe Parker plans on running this track as well.
